About the Marlin 1895
The Marlin Model 1895 is a lever-action centerfire rifle built around the .45-70 Government cartridge. Every 1895 has a solid-top receiver, side ejection and a hammer-block safety, so a scope or rail mounts directly on top of the receiver.
This version has stainless steel metal and an enlarged big-loop lever, which leaves room for a gloved hand. The full-length tubular magazine holds six rounds of .45-70 Govt.
